BBR Optometry would like to thank all clients and members of the wider community who have voted for their hat-trick of finalists in the Association of Optometrists (AOP) Awards 2017.
Hereford’s only independently-owned optometry practice is honoured to have chairman Nick Rumney, chief executive Nick Black and optometrist Laura Reece all named as finalists and the team is now keeping its fingers crossed for February 5, 2017 when the eventual winners will be announced at a black tie dinner.
Daniel Read, practice manager at BBR Optometry (pictured), says: “The AOP Awards are one of the most prestigious in the world of optometry and I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to vote.
“The deadline for voting has now passed but, as winners in these awards are decided purely by public vote, every single one that has been cast will really count. It isn’t easy to get shortlisted for these awards as there is a lot of strong competition and it really shows the quality of the people here at BBR that we have had three people featured. Hopefully your support will help Nick, Nick and Laura gain the awards that I think they deserve,” he added.
Nick Rumney is a finalist for ‘Optometrist of the Year’, Nick Black for ‘Contact Lens Practitioner of the Year’ and Laura Reece for ‘Newly-qualified Optometrist of the Year’.
