Lisa Strevens

Staff Resources Manager

Lisa Strevens

Lisa is one of the longest standing members of BBR; she joined the team back in 1988 as a receptionist. She gradually moved into a more administrative role and, in 2004, became the staff resources manager. Lisa knows the practice inside out, and this knowledge combined with her organisational skills ensures that the whole practice runs efficiently. Lisa's role also means that she has a close working relationship with all members of staff and she is a friendly face to all.

Lisa has a very busy life out of work as she has two very active children, who attend lots of extra-curricular activities.

Emily Willerton

Technical Support

Emily Willerton

Emily worked at BBR as an Optical Assistant for three years until 2011 when she went travelling for seven months. On returning from her adventures, she re-joined us as a member of the front of house team. Since then, Emily’s role has changed hugely and she is now the ‘go-to’ person for all IT issues whether it be sorting a printer jam, co-ordinating updates and repairs with equipment suppliers or developing and updating internal procedures. She’s always on the go and likes to be busy.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and reading and collecting Terry Pratchett books.

Gemma Fosbrook

Accountant

Gemma Fosbrook

Gemma joined BBR in August 2016 after completing her higher apprenticeships in Accountancy & Business Skills – in which she gained ‘Outstanding Higher Education Student of the Year’ and ‘Best Progress Apprentice’. Since then, she has begun studying to become a Chartered Accountant and, for the second year running, was shortlisted for two awards at the Accountancy Conference – ‘Rising Star of the Year’ and ‘Professional Member of the Year’.

Outside of work, Gemma spends most of her time socialising with friends and family and spending time with her two Labradors, Connie and Daisy.
