Between October 5th and 8th BBR optometrists Jessica MacIsaac and Laura Reece will be commuting to work on a tandem bike leading up to World Sight Day (October 8th) to raise funds for Optometry Giving Sight (OGS)!
OGS aims to eliminate avoidable blindness amongst the 670 million people worldwide who are blind or vision impaired simply because they do not have access to eye care or a pair of spectacles. Your donation will support sustainable eye care projects in 38 countries, which aim to provide eye care services to those in need, train eye care personnel, and establish vision centres.
Just £3 can help provide an eye exam and glasses to those in need!
There will be a collection tin at our front desk or you can follow this link to our JustGiving page and click Donate.
JustGiving sends your donation straight to Optometry Giving Sight so it’s a quick and safe way to donate.
We appreciate any contribution you can make to help transform lives!
Optics Cycling for Sight was founded in 2011 by Bradford University student optometrists Jessica MacIssac, Fares Hatoum and Abubakr Patel to raise money for Optometry Giving Sight.
